Summer Bishil (born June 15, 1985) is an American actor best known for playing Margo as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy show that ran between 2015 and current. The role she played before as a Lebanese American teenager Jasira, who goes through an array of struggles against the backdrop to the U.S. conflict in Iraq was in Alan Ball's movie Towelhead. The subsequent recognition as one of The Top 10 actresses in the world by Variety for 2007 was also an impressive recognition. Crossing Over, a 2009 crime thriller film in which she portrayed a female character named Taslima Jangir was nominated as an Independent Spirit Award nominee for the category of Best Female Lead. Aside from Lucky 7, she also played on screen in several movies like Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake and the film Moozlum The Last Airbender Pop Star.
